In 2007, the CWB Group embarked on a new strategy and very aggressive strategic plan. In order to achieve our vision and corporate objectives, it is essential that we align our HR strategy with our overall corporate goals and directives. Like most small-to-midsized organizations with limited resources, this can seem like a daunting exercise with many of our HR practices firmly entrenched in old habits and behaviours. We engaged the Kirwin Group initially to help us align our Performance Development system so that organizationally, our corporate goals and objectives would be cascaded through our company and our employees would understand their part in our success. The Kirwin Group helped us to ensure that our HR strategy is aligned with our corporate direction, and as we move forward, we are rewarding and compensating our people in the right way. Our relationship has grown from the performance development system, to re-developing our roles and responsibilities for every position, and designing a new compensation system that supports the right behaviours. The Kirwin Group listens to us and our employees, is leading us through an exciting but challenging time of change, brings a fresh perspective and keeps us focused and on track.
