Heather Rylander-Pearce, CHRP
Human Resources has been a passion of mine from the outset of my career. I love engaging with people in the workplace to improve things and help deliver measurable results. I believe in simple HR solutions which are sustainable and adaptable with the evolution of the workplace.
As an Human Resources generalist, I have become extremely familiar with the functional areas of HR. I began my career in the HR departments of smaller, high-tech start-ups. These experiences gave me great insight into fast-paced organizations that are building their business. I then moved on to work in a large Human Resource department for a U.S. based Fortune 500 company. That gave me a solid understanding of what well established HR systems and policies look like. These collective experiences have given me invaluable knowledge around a broad spectrum of situations and challenges and helped me appreciate the requirements of businesses at their various points of their business cycles.
I have Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from Humber College. I also completed my Strategic Leadership certificate from the University Of Toronto School Of Continuing Education, and I have my CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional).
